À Pomerol, le Château Mazeyres est conduit depuis plus de vingt ans par Alain Moueix, agronome et œnologue. Le vignoble est certifié en agriculture biologique depuis 2015 et en biodynamie (Biodyvin) depuis 2018.

Le Seuil de Mazeyres est le second vin du château : issu des jeunes vignes plantées sur graves, il assemble une majorité de merlot avec du cabernet franc et un peu de petit verdot, pour une lecture accessible et fraîche de l'élégance pomerolaise.

Robe rubis profond. Nez raffiné de cerise noire, violette et touche truffée typique de Pomerol. Bouche souple et soyeuse, tanins fins et enrobés, finale fraîche et tonique sur les fruits noirs et les épices fines.

Accords et service : filet de bœuf, magret de canard aux cèpes, agneau rôti, fromages à pâte molle. Servir à 16–17 °C, carafer 30 minutes.
